One of a Kind Kenworth!

July 29, 2009

Please see that attached pictures of this truck, it was here at the Dayton location today and Gina thought this would be a great truck for us to put on display at the truck show this year.  The customer is willing to bring the truck there please see below as well as contact Gina as she sold the customer the truck.

This one of a kind, head-turning Kenworth T270 was a true labor of love and the result of lots of hard-work. It is the brainchild of customer in Ohio just outside of Dayton. He and his wife Cindy dreamed of a truck to travel the country and spent time with their grandchildren in. Once a mere figment of the imagination, this unit was brought to life not only by the customer but also by the dedication of Gina Tu – sales at Palmer Trucks/Dayton, Bentz USA, Indiana Custom Truck and Utility Bodywerks. KW of Dayton ordered the truck as a crew cab, Bentz completed the crew cab conversion, ICT completed the additional custom extension and Utility Bodywerks installed the custom body. It took approximately 2.5 months to complete after delivery by the dealership. This truck is titled as a recreational vehicle and will pull a small travel trailer. It comes equipped with 4 air ride seats, two non-air seats, a sofa bed, table, refrigerator, back-up mirror, and a power generator with enough juice supply for three other trailers, a feature Mr. Lavy wanted for his son’s trailers. The truck is a non-cdl unit with a 10K front axle, a 21K rear de-rated to 16. It has a PX-8 engine, 330 hp, jake brake, Allison 3000 HS transmission, dura-bright wheels, 100 and 75 gallon fuel tanks, power doors and mirrors, the works.

This truck would make a wonderful additional to our truck show! The customers are willing to bring it and stay with it for the duration of the show
